North Lewisburg is a village is Champaign County. The village is served by the Triad Local School District (which consists of three schools), and North Lewisburg also has a public library that is a branch of the Champaign County Public Library. A piece of history lives in North Lewisburg's Village Alarm Bell, which was removed from the belfry of the Old Town Hall building, which was constructed in 1870. There is a crack in the bell, which was caused by two local citizens who rang the bell to celebrate the end of World War II. The Village Alarm Bell was placed in front of the newly built Municipal Building in 1976.
